About Arete talent representation

Founded in 1932, without even knowing it, Jimmy BB was working with 4 daughters and 2 sons who were born entertainers for the film and television industry. They were the greek version of the Jackson 5! Little did he know that not only would his children grow up to be in tv & film, but his grandchildren and great grandchildren would also venture into the entertainment world and in talent representation . Arete was formed by Grandaughter Melinda Helen who, after having a successful banking career, decided it was time to venture into the world of the family business. She started her own small talent management company in North Carolina for 2 years representing local talent. She had great success in local commercials, recurring co-stars and even regular players on the various shows that filmed in NC. Melinda recently moved to the big city and decided it was time to start a new venture of Arete. Talent Agenting was also something she dreamed of doing.
